Meet Jen Turcotte L'Herault

How did you hear about Faithfully Restored?

A mutual friend thought I should get connected to Faithfully Restored because I lost my husband in the war in Iraq in 2006. I am always looking for ways to partner with others who have gone through similar experiences to lift them up with hope. I met with Jamie Heard when I was visiting Nashville with my family. And a couple months later my family felt God calling us to Nashville, so we obeyed God’s call and moved down.

What are you most excited about being part of the Faithfully Restored team?

I am excited to get volunteers involved with the mission of Faithfully Restored. I believe that coming alongside of one another to feel seen and heard in our pain and giving each other love and hope will change how we move through grief and trauma.

Tell us a little bit about your family and what you like to do in your free time.

I am married to my husband Adam; we have two children Oliver (11yrs old) and Annie (9yrs old). We moved to Nashville in 2021 and we have been having so much fun exploring our new city. We also love the beach and now that we're closer, we have made a few road trips to the beach and have been loving it.

Favorite Bible verse and why?

Now Faith is confidence in what we Hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1. I held tight to this verse when I was going through the loss of my first husband. When I could not see through the darkness, I held tight to my faith until I could see hope.
