May Breakfast Club - Motherhood and Illness
Chrissy Pursell Adolf is a worshipper, musician, athlete and diabetes advocate. She is wife and mother to diabetic 2 year old son. Having been diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic herself at 8 months old there was always fear surrounding carrying and having a child. Chrissy also has OCA1A albinism, which perhaps caused most concern and insecurity of having a child with a more visible disability and knowing the years ahead of physical and later visual insecurity. These seasons of fear, heartache, and trust have produced more gratitude than she knew possible.
